Privacy notice
AbstractsDue is deliberately local-first and collects as little personal information as possible.
Saved conferences and specialties
Saved items and specialty preferences remain in your browser using local storage. They are not attached to an account or transmitted to us.
Conference watches
If you request a conference watch, we store your email address and the conference you chose. The watch starts only after you use the confirmation link we send. We use that information solely for relevant abstract-deadline alerts and never add it to a general mailing list.
Unconfirmed requests expire after 48 hours and are removed by the next delivery run. A confirmed watch remains until you unsubscribe. Doing so immediately deletes its stored email address.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate page use. It is configured without advertising identifiers and does not set analytics cookies.
Messages and corrections
If you contact us, we store the information you submit so we can respond and protect the service from abuse. Email is optional for deadline corrections. Operational records are retained only while needed for support, security and the evidence audit trail.
Service providers and legal basis
Vercel hosts the site, Neon stores submitted information, Resend sends confirmations and alerts from its Ireland region, and GitHub runs the scheduled alert worker. Conference-watch messages are sent with the consent you give when confirming a watch; you can withdraw it through any alert. Other submitted information is processed for the legitimate interests of answering messages, correcting listings and protecting the service.
Your rights
You may request access, correction or deletion of personal information supplied through the contact form. AbstractsDue is operated in Ireland and applies the GDPR and Irish data-protection law. Last updated 24 August 2026.
